1. The People of the Far North lived in an area that covered over 5,000 miles, east to west. Most of the Native Americans here lived along the coastline of their territory. They were hunters as well as fishermen.
2. Other Native Americans who lived near the territory called the People of the Far North, Eskimo, which meant eaters of raw meat. The People of the Far North preferred to be called Inuits.
3. Inuits lived in a variety of homes not just ones made of snow.
4. The People of the Far North had very strong teeth because their food had no sugar in it.
5. In most parts of the Far North, daylight and darkness can last for up to six months!
